**2025 Lady Dawg Travel Fastpitch Softball Assessments**

Attention all softball players and parents! We’re excited to announce the upcoming assessments for our 2025 Summer season of travel softball, scheduled for December 9th. Join us for a relaxed and fun environment where players aged 9-14 can showcase their skills and abilities through various stations.

Assessment Schedule:
– 14U: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
– 10U and 12U: 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
– Location: The Armory, Whitefish

 

What to expect with Travel Softball:

Our Lady Dawgs travel softball program offers a higher level of play compared to recreational ball, providing players with the opportunity to enhance their skills and compete in more widespread competition. This commitment involves a greater time investment, with dedicated workouts and skill-building sessions throughout the winter months. During the spring, players can expect one practice per week in addition to their recreational softball commitments. As the summer season approaches, practices typically increase to four days a week, usually from Tuesday to Thursday, allowing for intensive preparation before tournaments.

Our travel teams can expect to participate in 6-7 tournaments, starting at the end of May and running through the first two weekends of July. Most tournaments will take place from Friday to Sunday, including the state tournament, with three of the tournaments being local. This is an excellent chance for players to grow, compete, and enjoy the camaraderie of their teammates while elevating their game to new heights!

Please note that registration will include costs beyond recreational ball, and uniforms and gear will need to be purchased. However, there will be plenty of fundraising opportunities available to help offset these expenses.
